Caroline Springs Optical offers our clients the highest level of Optometry Services.
Eye examinations are essential to ensure your eyes are always at their best enabling you to live your life to the fullest.
We monitor your eye health needs including glaucoma and macula checks. We work closely with local GPs to monitor conditions such as diabetes.
We recommend an eye test for all adults at least every two years. In some cases, we may need to monitor your eyes more regularly.
Our Eye examinations take approximately 30 minutes and are Bulk Billed to Medicare. We offer digital retinal imaging at no cost to you. Retinal Imaging is a great tool to monitor your eyes and note any changes to your retina over time, that may need attending to.
The eyes tell us a lot about our general health, so even if you feel like your vision hasn’t changed it is still important to have a regular eye test. Remember that not all conditions present with symptoms.
We recommend an eye test for all children before they start school and at least every two years afterwards depending on our findings.
Vision is often considered the most important sense when it comes to learning; and more than 80% of all school tasks are based on vision. Vision is the key to your child’s whole development. Not only school achievement, but also personality, posture and adjustment to life are closely linked with vision development.
Regular children’s vision assessments are very important for early detection and treatment of eye problems. These include; turned eye (strabismus), amblyopia (lazy eye), high prescriptions and focusing ability.
All these conditions can hinder your child’s visual development, performance at school and their confidence to interpret their environment.
If you wear glasses, chances are you can wear contact lenses too. There are many different types of contact lenses available, but the gold standard in contact lenses are daily disposables.
With recent advances in design technology, contact lenses are now more comfortable, easier to care for and more affordable than before. Costing less than the cost of a cup of coffee a day contact lenses are a great alternative to wearing glasses.
Contact lenses can be worn full-time or part-time. Some people love the freedom to not wear glasses and others lead an active lifestyle and wear them purely for sport.
